Mirandus launches a new event on July 23, offering players a chance to face increased Goblin threats, earn rewards, and experience gameplay with new characters.

Gala Games is set to launch a new event in its popular MMORPG, Mirandus, beginning July 23. Titled ‘A Glimpse Into the Unknown,’ this event promises to intensify the ongoing narrative by introducing heightened challenges and rewards for players, according to news.gala.com.

Increased Goblin Threat

The storyline picks up after the Exemplars’ success in securing the Citadel of the Sun. However, the stability is short-lived as Goblin forces are reportedly increasing in both number and aggression, posing a renewed threat to the peace. This surge in Goblin activity is believed to be driven by an unseen power, adding a layer of mystery to the ongoing saga.

Event Details and Gameplay Enhancements

The event will see Goblin spawn rates spike, with new Goblin Brutes appearing in three additional areas within Narrows Landing. This escalation is designed to test both seasoned Exemplars and new players alike. For the first time, players without Exemplars can join the fray through new characters called the Hollows, though these characters come with limited features.

Despite their limitations, the Hollows allow players to engage fully in combat and collect Chaotic Trace, a special loot drop that plays a pivotal role in the event’s competitive elements.

Leaderboard and Rewards

Chaotic Trace serves as the key to climbing the leaderboard, with additional points awarded for players equipped with a Siphon of Chaos NFT. The bonuses vary based on the rarity of the Siphon, ranging from 20% to 100% additional points. Strategic use of these NFTs will be crucial for players looking to maximize their points.

The event will reward top performers with a share of 128,200 $GALA. The reward structure incentivizes players to engage actively, with detailed rankings and rewards outlined for the top 300 participants.

Future Implications

This event is not just a standalone challenge but also sets the stage for future updates in Mirandus. The Siphon of Chaos is expected to offer passive in-game effects in forthcoming updates, adding long-term strategic value for players who invest in these NFTs.
