IOTA APAC Moveathon Awards $150,000 to Innovative Blockchain Projects

The IOTA APAC Moveathon in Singapore awarded over $150,000 to innovative projects like HyperAgile, Figo, and AToIoTA, showcasing the potential of IOTA’s technology.

The inaugural IOTA APAC Moveathon concluded in Singapore, celebrating innovation with over $150,000 in prizes awarded to cutting-edge projects. The event, which took place over nine weeks, highlighted the capabilities of IOTA’s Move VM and EVM, showcasing projects that push the boundaries of blockchain technology.

Top Winners in the Spotlight

HyperAgile emerged as the first-place winner, receiving $35,000 for its Middleware-as-a-Service platform. This platform bridges robotic automation with IOTA, creating digital twins for inventory management and facilitating complex setup migrations. The team, led by Tan Zhi Xuan, impressed judges with its innovation in tokenized inventory management and human-robot interaction.

Figo secured second place with a $25,000 prize. The project transforms collectible figure management by integrating NFC and NFT technologies, allowing collectors to mint figures as Dynamic NFTs. Team lead Zhan Choon Wong highlighted the seamless integration between physical and digital assets, enhancing the collector experience.

AToIoTA, an AI-driven DeFi portfolio management platform, came in third, earning $15,000. The platform provides intelligent financial insights and automated portfolio rebalancing, making DeFi more accessible. Team lead Chonlarnatt P. emphasized its role as a personal AI financial advisor for crypto investors.

Recognition for Track Winners

The Moveathon also recognized outstanding projects in specialized tracks. Figo, HyperAgile, Omneon, and OG Builders each won $8,000 for their respective tracks, showcasing their innovations in Payments & Consumer Applications, Tokenization & Global Trade, DeF(A)i, and Tooling & Infrastructure.

Community engagement played a crucial role, with Zeyphr winning the community’s favorite project. This Web3 e-commerce gateway on IOTA EVM streamlines blockchain transactions, offering features like zero-knowledge onboarding and Point of Sale capabilities.

A Journey of Innovation

Throughout the nine-week event, participants demonstrated remarkable dedication, pushing the limits of IOTA’s tech stack. The Moveathon series aims to continue fostering innovation, with plans for a MENA edition soon. The IOTA ecosystem is committed to supporting ongoing development and market introduction of these pioneering solutions.
