Anthropic’s research reveals that only 2.9% of interactions with Claude involve affective conversations, which include discussions on career advice, relationship navigation, and existential inquiries. A mere 0.5% of these conversations involve companionship and roleplay. Interestingly, the study found that emotional tone tends to improve over the course of conversations with Claude.
