BNB Chain unveils its 2025 tech roadmap, focusing on enhancing transaction speed, AI integration, and security features to drive the future of decentralized finance and Web3.

BNB Chain has announced its technology roadmap for 2025, outlining ambitious plans to enhance transaction speeds, integrate artificial intelligence, and bolster security measures. This announcement follows a successful 2024, where the blockchain network experienced significant growth and improvements, according to the BNB Chain blog.

Performance Enhancements

In 2024, BNB Chain made strides in improving network efficiency by implementing the Parallel Ethereum Virtual Machine on opBNB and the Consecutive Block Production on BSC. These upgrades facilitated a 41.7% increase in Total Value Locked (TVL) and a 67% reduction in financial losses from security breaches. Looking ahead, the network aims to achieve sub-second transaction speeds while processing up to 100 million transactions daily.

Gasless Transactions and MEV Protection

BNB Chain’s Megafuel initiative, introduced in 2024, enabled gasless transactions for stablecoins, benefiting over 16 million users. In 2025, the network plans to extend gasless transactions to all types of user transactions, allowing gas fees to be paid using stablecoins or BEP-20 tokens. Additionally, efforts to combat malicious maximal extractable value (MEV) will continue, with BSC validators working to improve block voting and reduce mempool exposure.

AI Integration and Smart Wallet Solutions

The integration of artificial intelligence is a key focus for BNB Chain. More than 60 AI-powered projects have been deployed, covering industries from data infrastructure to AI-driven applications. The network plans to enhance its smart wallet solutions, incorporating features like better key management and batch transactions. AI agents are expected to assist users in managing trades and spending efficiently.

Developer Tools and Community Engagement

BNB Chain will continue to support developers with streamlined SDKs and APIs, along with AI-powered development tools like the BNB Chain AI Code Copilot. These resources aim to facilitate efficient coding and debugging, fostering innovation within the blockchain community.
