BNB Hackathon Highlights

The BNB Chain Hackathon continues to foster innovation in the blockchain space, rewarding projects that excel in AI, DeSoc, DeSci, and DePIN. This initiative has gathered significant attention with hundreds of global submissions, underlining the growing interest in blockchain-based solutions, according to BNB Chain.

Latest Winners and Submissions

In the recent batch, which ran from May 25 to June 5, over 30 submissions were evaluated. The standout project, MCPForge, was awarded Tier 3 status, offering a prize of $3,000 USDT, a $50,000 Kickstart Package, and a demo opportunity on BNB Chain channels. MCPForge is a marketplace that transforms GitHub-based repositories into deployable AI services, streamlining the transition from code to income.

Additionally, four projects, namely Quest Craft, Akai Space, Expiry Mitra, and NeuroBalance, were recognized as Tier 4 potential awardees. These projects are under continuous support and observation as they develop further.

Impact of Previous Awardees

The impact of the BNB Hackathon extends beyond the awards. Past recipients have made significant strides, with projects like Tearline and SentismAI achieving high transaction volumes and user engagement. Aster AI and Play AI have also shown remarkable growth, demonstrating the hackathon’s role in advancing blockchain applications.

Participation and Future Opportunities

The BNB Hackathon encourages participation from projects launched on testnet or mainnet after February 12, 2025. It offers bi-weekly evaluations, potential cash rewards up to $10,000, and a $50,000 Kickstart package. Participants also have the chance to be considered for the Most Valuable Builder (MVB) program and the BNB Incubation Alliance. The hackathon provides a platform for projects to gain visibility through demo sessions on BNB Chain’s official channels.

Additionally, the hackathon features sponsored challenges with over $540,000 in prizes, allowing participants to compete in various tracks. There is also a $10K Cookbook Bounty for submitting useful code examples, offering rewards and increased visibility for contributors.
