BNB Chain Announces Winners at Dubai Demo Day

BNB Chain’s Demo Day in Dubai, held during Token 2049, celebrated blockchain innovation, announcing winners from various projects judged by industry experts.

The BNB Chain recently concluded its Demo Day in Dubai, which was held on April 29, 2025, coinciding with the Token 2049 event. This event, formerly known as the BNB Incubation Alliance (BIA), was designed to support early-stage blockchain projects, offering networking opportunities and celebrating the global Web3 community.

Event Sponsors and Highlights

The event was sponsored by notable industry players, including Aster, Google Cloud, ListaDAO, Soon, Tranchess, Jiritsu, and Wello. These sponsors played a crucial role in the success of the event, which aimed to empower blockchain innovation and development.

Judging and Criteria

A panel of esteemed judges, featuring representatives from BNB Chain, YZi Labs, Presto Labs, Gate Ventures, Kraken, Faculty Group, CoinMarketCap, and Amber, evaluated the participating projects. Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) also contributed as a guest judge. Projects were assessed based on the sustainability of their operating models, the excellence of their founding teams, the innovativeness of their technology, and their potential contributions to the BNB Chain ecosystem.

Panel Discussions and Project Pitches

The event featured keynote speeches and industry updates, followed by two expert-led panel discussions. The “Beyond the Farm: The Future of DeFi” panel included representatives from ListaDAO, Aster, Tranchess, and Wello, who discussed the evolution of DeFi beyond yield farming. Another panel, “From Protocol to People: Infrastructure That Connects,” hosted leaders from Soon, Aspecta, Jiritsu, and Securitize, focusing on the integration of DeFi, AI, and RWA on the BNB Chain.

Following the project pitches, CZ engaged in a Q&A session addressing hot topics in Web3, emphasizing the importance of talent and real products in strengthening the BNB Chain.

• TermMax: A decentralized fixed-income protocol offering predictable yields through fixed-rate bonds.
• Aegis: A Bitcoin-backed stablecoin project, YUSD, providing yield-bearing opportunities.
• Perme: AI-powered DeFi vaults for yield optimization and risk management.
• FDN: A decentralized image and identity data platform for AI avatars.
• DLife: A platform connecting life science data to Web3.
• Tag AI: An AI-powered CommunityFi platform for managing and monetizing online communities with Web3 incentives.
• AEON: An omnichain payment and clearing layer for seamless crypto and fiat transactions.
• Swaps.io: A DeFi marketplace focusing on cross-chain swaps.
• Stitch AI: A decentralized memory and data marketplace for AI agents.
• Rice AI: A decentralized AI foundry for robotics, enabling data sharing and model training on blockchain.
